In every episode of The Practice Parlour podcast, we end by playing parlour games - two final questions that all guests are asked to answer. They are inspired by real Victorian parlour games, as explained in this article.
The first, “Lighting the Candle,” resembles the original game in name only. The title aligns deeply with my work and values, and so I decided to adapt it for the purpose of the podcast.
“What person, resource, organization, or idea would you like to pass the torch to and illuminate today?” I ask each guest.
